Marketing Mailers and Boxes

B2C and B2C Mailers & Gift Boxes

For 2025 holiday season, PURELL ran a large B2C social campaign that paired with a new product launch — the Berry & Citrus Hand Sanitizer Spray. I was tasked with designing the gift box that would hold the complete set of scented hand sprays (Berry & Citrus, Tangerine & Pear, and Lavender & Verbena) and be sent out to 300 influencers. Within the box was also a double sided card insert, explaining why they received this gift and what to do should they decide to create organic social content for PURELL.

We love PURELL!!!!
— Literally Everyone

The boxes were well received. Many rushed to post the unboxing of their new products, thanking PURELL and spreading the news of the new scent. Others took to the streets and showed how lovely and convenient it was to have sanitizer on the go.

Early Concepts

Before selecting the final box, these were other concepts presented for consideration.

But wait, there's more!

Below are the mailer boxes I designed for PURELL’s general influencer campaign. Leading creative from concept through execution, I designed the packaging, created the custom illustrations, and wrote the campaign messaging to feel social-first and highly shareable. The goal was to turn the unboxing itself into content—using bold color, playful copy, and layered interior moments to encourage influencers to post organically while reinforcing PURELL’s brand message. We also sent these to paid influencers. All shipments included personal sized products.

Samples Campaign

Throughout the year, PURELL also runs lower-budget campaigns where they send out free samples along with a QR code to take a survey about how they enjoyed the product. I am charged with designing the mailer and insert along with sourcing where to print.

x PURELL

PURELL doesn’t just send samples to consumers. They send it to businesses too. These are two boxes that were set out to TSC decision makers with the goal of securing their account. One box serious, the other playful . . . both successful.

These kits were a first impression—a chance to show how well the two brands pair together, which I visually demonstrated by combining elements of both brand identities into one cohesive design. As part of this I developed a pattern incorporating TSC and PURELL product iconography.

Lastly, this is a heavy duty acrylic box sent out to airport KDMs. The top displayed a beautiful tile pattern and strong branding, and it slid off to reveal two of their top dispensers at the time: the ES10 and counter-mount. Upon inspection, the KDM is able to remove the dispensers (secured with velcro), and feel them out. These dispensers appear luxurious and high-end, but the box makes it clear these won’t beak the bank. In fact, they will save them money long term. There’s a business card inside, prompting the KDM to contact the seller to learn more.
